Description
The 10K race kicks off our Rocket City Race Weekend series of races at 7AM on Saturday morning. It starts in front of the Von Braun Center, runs through historic Huntsville, and finishes at the same exciting Rocket City Marathon indoor finish line.
Registered participants will receive a registration shirt.
Finishers will receive a 10K medal.
If you complete any TWO events you will receive a Challenge gift.
If you complete THREE events, known as the Hat Trick”(10K, 5K and either a half or full marathon), and you will receive a custom Rocket City hat.
Prizes
Awards will be given out at the awards ceremony in the South Hall after the results are certified. The anticipated time for awards is 8:3o ish am. The awards will start when all age group winners have been confirmed.
Prizes and awards will not be mailed.
The Top 3 Male and Female finishers in the following age groups will receive Rocket City 10k awards:
0 – 9,
10 - 14,
15 - 19,
20 – 24,
25 – 29,
30 – 34,
35 – 39,
40 – 44,
45 – 49,
50 – 54,
55 – 59,
60 – 64,
65 – 69,
70 – 74,
75 & up
